Another Highrise in Williamsburg

My old backyard in Brooklyn underwent a little cosmetic surgery. Apparently in a few months time there will be a new highrise in place shadowing over the yard, blocking the afternoon sun and destroying the quiet privacy of that little alcove of backyards. Guess it’s nothing new.

Recorded a very rough version of a song over Xmas break. Lots of flubs and mishaps in recording, plus synth approximations where a cellist and percussionist should be… but other than that a nice little sketch of a song. I feel good about it. The MP3 is here. More to come.
